Homecoming 2026
Tickets are now on sale for Harmonies on the Hill, a movement music festival celebrating Highlander’s 94th anniversary Sept. 12 from 10am to 7pm in New Market, TN. The cost is $40 for adults and $20 for youth 18 and under.
Performers and events
Harmonies on the Hill is a one-day music festival cultivating joy and resilience through song. We will be joined by movement musicians, artists, and friends of Highlander from across the U.S. South.
In addition to a day full of musical performances, we will also have Line Dancing with Tanika Walthall, Square Dancing with Darrell Acuff, a May Justus Children’s Storytime in the Septima Clark Learning Center fellowship room, Education Team Methodology workshops, and more!
Attendees are invited to bring your lawn chairs, blankets, lunch, and snacks. We will also have food available for purchase, along with T-shirts and other merchandise for sale to benefit Highlander’s work building movement in the U.S. South and Appalachia through grassroots organizing and popular education.
